The magnolia and tuberose are are strong in this one and have never been favorites of mine but the vanilla,jasmine. The scent contains bright top notes of Louisiana magnolia, pear and lotus, followed by a flower heart of tuberose, jasmine and pink cyclamen, while the base is an effervescent mix of musk, vanilla and precious woods.

It does not progress very clearly through the perfume pyramid, magnolia and the soft, demure lotus dominate throughout (with a hint of pear playing a supportive role).I don't know if they fixed that, but even then the perfume still smells fantastic with the discoloration. Whilst Britney was under an abhorrent and abusive conservatorship at the hands of her father, I had refused to repurchase any fragrances with her name on them due to the fact that money was going in her greedy family’s pockets, not hers. In me is prominent the magnolia, pear, lotus and a little bit jasmine, I think his sweetness is from the pear and jasmine, I don't feel it woody or vanilla note. The first 5 minutes it was a vaguely nauseating alcohol, but difficult to perceive unless you really sniffed around for it. The florals are sheer and beautiful with a slight tartness from the floral trifecta of jasmine, tuberose and cyclamen all evened out with the white musk, vanilla, and sandalwood.

I have tried Eau De Magnolia by Frederic Malle as well, but this one won when it comes to the dry down. Don’t get me wrong I still enjoy it but I could definitely tell the difference and I really wish companies would STOP reformulating already great fragrances. The combination of those top notes with the middle floral notes create a beautiful shower or shampoo scent that's perfect for anybody. After 5 hours- the vanilla, musk and woods have really taken over now, the fragrance has changed quite a bit in my opinion, it’s like “your skin but better”, it’s extremely soft, sillage has massively decreased since though, lingers hardly more than the skin.It’s a fresh, aquatic floral that has great projection and longevity and has really stood the test of time!

The smell makes me think of barbies, toy makeup, and plastic both because of the vibe of the smell and because there's literally a strong artificial/plastic smell to it (not sure what it is). But despite being a fairly strong floral, Curious is still sweet enough to suit women of all ages (not that perfume has any age!
