Year 7 Bushcraft Adventure

Our new Year 7 students took on the exciting challlenge of camping in Cornbury Park in Oxfordshire at the Bushcraft team building centre for three days. They managed to avoid the majority of the terrible thunder and lightning that we experienced in Beaconsfield. Headteacher Mrs Smith visited them on the middle day and said "I was astounded at the positivity, determination and courage of many of the girls.  This courage came from overcoming even the smallest of challenges – from jumping into a very cold lake, picking up and holding crayfish and eating (yes eating!) fish eyes!"

The students and staff arrived back on Friday afternoon, a little grubby and tired but all happy to have taken part.  We would like to thank all of the staff who gave up their time to make the event possible.
