No way for me to tell how old it is, but it still smells as it should with the vanilla deepened, making it more gourmand to my nose. While the perfume opens wonderfully, with white florals and spices, it is soon overpowered with nutmeg that continues to dominate the scent deep into the creamy drydown. And we still find it to be one of the best classy (floriental-arabic influenced) perfumes ever made for the market. I can see myself wearing it to a fancy dinner or lounging on the couch, I'm not sure I can go back to my old perfumes.

Dressed in a long creme-coloured dress, embodying classic beauty and gracefulness, I imagine her with a glass of champagne. It has a very nice but not annoying projection (I used 2 sprays) , but the first time you use it start with one or two sprays and see if you need or want more . This isn't " old lady-ish" ( i hate that saying anyway) but it is "old school", they sure don't make em like this anymore, it's the way oriental floral should be.I sprayed only one very small spray on the back of my left hand, and that was all that was needed because that tiny little splat, projected like a nuclear bomb.

The honeysuckle (the strongest note in this perfume for me) gives it that sweetness, the mace gives it that slightly spicy tinge that is similar but softer than nutmeg and the tuberose makes this a big and bombastic white floral. I haven't tried it in recent years as I've heard it's changed and I don't want to ruin my memory of it. The longevity is good - lasts a good six hours on my skin, before it completely fades; sillage maybe not as strong as it used to be, but I'm fine with it. If you like sweet white floral fragrances, which do not veer into outrageous oriental territory, please give it a test. If the data is transferred to the US, there is a risk that your data can be processed by US authorities, for control and surveillance measures, possibly without legal remedies.I just recently acquired a bottle of this for myself as my mother wore it often while I was growing up and for that reason its a very comforting scent for me. That said, if you're looking to be bold, and express a lot of personality, this isn't really for that.
