ILLUMINATING FAST BOIL KETTLE -- The Andrew James Lumiglo Kettle looks great and saves you time in the kitchen. It has numerous convenient features, including a flip top lid, LED illumination, an easy to read water gauge, a 360 degree swivel base and a whole host of safety features. There's also an auto-cancel boil-dry protection function that prevents the kettle from boiling when there's insufficient water in the jug. When is not full of water, it doesn't quite sit down on the base, but again perhaps this will loosen over time.

There are clear level markers on the outside of the jug so you can easily see how much water you have in the kettle. looks good, and works well so far( am hedging my bets, as another brand of kettle I bought elsewhere started leaking after only 6 months, which is why I bought this one). So this isn't the most expensive kettle it there, but I'm still a little disappointed but the finish. It's a stylish kettle, with a matt black exterior and blue LEDs placed around the bottom which illuminate when it's boiling.

Some of the grooves (between elements) are not as smart as they should be and the join line (of the plastic) down from the spout to the base is a bit of a let down.Degree Base - The kettle has a 360 degree swivel base, meaning the kettle can be placed on it facing any direction, and also rotated around the base. Automatic shut off switches the kettle off once the water is up to temperature, boil dry protection stops the boiling process if the kettle has no water inside, and the non-slip feet prevent the base from slipping. This jug has a padded base, an airtight lid, and has a black handle with an insulating pad for easier handling.
