Now enhanced with Class 10 speed, the FlashAir TM II delivers speedy data transfers so users can upload their images and videos within seconds. The SD card’s Internet pass-through feature allows users to access the card and Internet simultaneously – enabling the ability to upload images in real-time. Using a wireless LAN chip, The FlashAir TM II Wireless SD Card is accessible to any LAN-capable computer, smartphone or tablet, and can support such simultaneous access from up to seven devices. In addition, the built-in wireless LAN also allows for uploading without an Internet connection. When card cannot be found go into your mobile device Wi-Fi settings. Refresh or turn off then on Wi-Fi. You should see FlashAir followed by a series of numbers. Select it as the Wi-Fi connection. SD cards give minimum speeds instead of maximum speeds because it is the minimum speed which will get you in the end.

If this sounds familiar, you’re probably thinking of the venerable Eye-Fi line of products, which combine an SD card and a wireless radio, giving your camera instant wireless capabilities. But Eye-Fi and FlashAir work quite differently. With Eye-Fi, your camera connects to an existing wireless network, which it uses to upload photos to the cloud or another PC on the LAN. FlashAir doesn’t require an existing network—in fact, it can’t connect to an existing network. Rather, FlashAir is its own wireless LAN, and you configure your other devices to connect to it. TIMEOUT. By default the Wifi-part of the FlashAir SSID activates for five minutes when your camera is switched on. You can disable auto-on (least draining to the camera's battery) or adjust auto-timeout to anything from 1 to 30 minutes. Or you can disable auto-timeout entirely. Available in two storage capacities, including 16GB and 32GB, the FlashAir TM II provides ample memory room for extensive photo and video libraries. When you switch camera off iPhone will automatically return to your network Wi-Fi setting. On Android I have had to select my network Wi-Fi setting when done. Different devices and operation systems may respond differently.Switch to the FlashAir SSID device name (see below, if you want to adjust the name of the device).
6. Select the FlashAir app on your iPhone I have the Flash Air W-03 32gb SD card. But the folder doesn't automatically update when I take a new picture. The terms and conditions of Toshiba’s standard limited warranty are available at www.warranty.toshiba.com. Stay Online: What’s more, Internet Pass-Thru Mode allows you to access the web while still connected to the FlashAir SD card. So it’s easy to share your latest shots with friends.

I selected Display Date, Square Thumbnail, Auto reload, Convert RAW to JPEG. Did not select Display RAW thumbnails. You’ve been busy snapping photos with your digital camera all day. Now you want to get those pics transferred to your tablet or laptop. The other devices don’t have a compatible SD card slot. What to do?How can I set it up so that when I take a picture it automatically appears in that folder without the need for the folder to be manually refreshed? The FlashAir online info/help provided with FlashAir apps is confusing in part because their card is quite versatile, so the instructions don't zero in on what most people would want to do: transfer pictures from their camera to their Photos app on a smart device, Mac or PC. Great for traveling light, I just develop Raw files in-camera, send the jpegs to my phone, and then it's on google+, no laptop required. Initially I tried using Toshiba's FlashAir for Mac applications - not recommended. Using FlashAir on a smart device is much more of a "turn-key" operation than with a Mac.]

Toshiba’s FlashAir II offers a handy solution, embedding a miniature Wi-Fi access point into a standard SD card. Just like that, you can access photos on the card from up to seven other devices, connecting directly via Wi-Fi to the card’s access point. Users can take photos and videos with their digital camera and instantaneously access and store on multiple PCs, Macs, Ultrabooks™, tablets and smartphones – all at the same time.We understand how important it is for consumers to share their photo and video memories with family and friends,” said Maciek Brzeski, Vice President, Branded Storage, Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., Digital Products Division. “We have eliminated the cumbersome task of uploading pictures via a USB cord so users can effortlessly share and manage their files, leaving more time for what’s important.”
