I think is a great perfume for a younger woman in her 20's, but I feel it is so femenine that I believe a 40 year old can get away with :) I personally absolutely love it! To prolong the scent for longer, apply your fragrance on the inside of the wrists and behind the earlobe.

This long-lasting parfum lasts all day long with just a few dabs since the concentration of essences is very high. I'm no perfume expert, to me it smells very nice, kind of velvety but light, vanilla is there but it's not taking over, even later I smell the same notes as in the openning, it does not change. I do love this note combo, but, really… it’s almost as “revolutionary” as 4 o’clock tea in the garden. I am a total sweet tooth when it comes to perfumes, this fragrance to me qualifies as a gourmand-fougere. I find this scent very sexy, sweet, ultra-feminine and alluring, suitable for night time (date, night out) in virtually every season (maybe not summer if it is too hot). The advertised “fougère” accord is barely existant, as well as the supposedly central note of peony – I wonder if that is what I read as “red berries” in the opening? The sweetness is too intense; the iris, too metallic, in the same line of Lancôme La Vie Est Belle; and the worst part, the powderyness of the musk-tonka combo is off the charts. Or, if you just want to smell like sweet, musky-powdery candy… Prada Candy Kiss is a much smoother, more pleasant take on this genre: simple but charming, with focus on a pretty neroli note!

In the base, you'll detect the piercing musk which pairs sensually with the unique note of vanilla and fern, creating a striking effect. For example, some top note citrus scents smell stronger immediately upon application, while a lavender middle note may be sensed after some time from application as the top note evaporates. It has some edginess like Olympea does, but it is not salty and I don't smell any strong amber notes. Top notes are Pear, Tangerine, Orange Blossom and Bergamot; middle notes are Tonka Bean and Tuberose; base notes are Vanilla, Fern, Musk, Clove, Ambroxan and Patchouli. Apply it in the morning to start the day with a fresh and feminine scent that will uplift your mood.

These pulse zones have a higher temperature than the rest of the body, and this will help the fragrance to evaporate more slowly.
