About this deal

I know this is an old thread but in case anyone else is interested, I've had good luck with the AWUS036ACH card running Kali on a Raspberry Pi. To be honest I don’t know exactly which component is the decisive one when it comes to interface naming. I was referring to the WIFI PINEAPPLE MARK VII from Hack5 it self, would you be able to point me to a 5 GHz USB NIC? Especially when running Kali in a virtual machine you will have to keep in mind some additional details.

The ALFA AWUS036ACH has two external antenna connectors (RP-SMA) with two detachable WiFi dual band antennas which can be simply replaced by any dual band WiFi antennas of your choice. Will work with Kali whether it is installed as a main OS or as a virtual machine (regardless of the host OS). On one hand; thank you, thank you, thank you for this information, on the other; couldn’t you have put this near the top of the article instead of the summary? From a wide range of quality brands to affordable picks, these reviews will help you find the best alfa awus036ach wifi adapter, no matter what your budget is.

I recently relocated to another country and the majority of my books where I could gain a better understanding are not here yet. The package comes with the Adapter, Driver CD, Clips, Cable, Quick Start Guide, and two 5dBi Antennas. Both these methods place the wireless adapter into monitor mode except iwconfig keeps the monitor mode on wlan0 and airmon-ng starts monitor mode on mon0. I tried the remove and purge steps exactly as you outlined in your post but my wireless card still does not see any APs.

AWUS036ACH not only has, it helps to penetrate walls, and eliminate Wi-Fi dead spots in your living space easily.I just came across this video WiFi WPA/WPA2 cracking with hashcat and hcxdumptool by David Bombal and was wondering if this can be achieved with the WiFi Pineapple Mark VII and MK7AC WiFi Adapter? I think I have been watching your YouTube channel 🙂 If you are the same guy then please keep up with the videos. If you are running Kali in a virtual machine, you will also need to allow the virtual machine to connect to the USB device. Please keep in mind though that it is illegal to attack networks that you do not own or which you do not have permission to perform tests on. Although airmon-ng had shown a warning message about “Network Manager” being a possibly problematic process that should be stopped, it does not seem to touch it.

The Alfa AWUS036ACH didn't work out of the box with Ubuntu, so I Googled around and found a shell script that got it to work. It's especially beneficial for users in areas with weak Wi-Fi signals or for those who need to connect to distant access points. Additionally, the included software interface could be more intuitive for users who are less experienced with network settings. The biggest difference is that the ACH isn't on the list of 5 GHz USB NICs that is compatible with the Mark VII out of the box.

This adapter is even featured on Kali’s 2017 release blog post, there are other wireless adapters that use this chipset but this is the one that most experts prefer and use, it is just more reliable and more stable that others that use the same chipset . The ALFA AWUS036ACH-C has two external antenna connectors (RP-SMA) with two detachable WiFi dual band antennas which can be simply replaced by any dual band WiFi antennas of your choice. ALFA AWUS036ACH is a long range dual antenna 867 Mbps Wi-Fi USB adapter compatible with Windows XP through Windows 10.
