Seven Brothers is an award winning brewery based in Salford, Manchester ran by seven brothers and extended team. Seven Brothers was founded in 2014 by McAvoy brothers Guy, Keith, Luke, Daniel, Nathan, Kit and Greg.

Lucy, who runs her own events management company as well as being a mum-of-two, says: “At first it started as a bit of sibling rivalry, we saw the boys doing the beer and thought oh ok fine we’ll go off and do something together then. The owners of the Hereford Street venue warned other independent businesses will 'flounder' in these 'difficult times' without custom. As I got older, myself and Greg, the two youngest brothers, took a bit of an interest in dad's homebrew. James has over two decades of experience in the industry, beginning his journey in Manchester with pioneers of the scene Marble, where he was head brewer for eight years. Promising “fruity undertones”, they sport Aldi’s The Hop House brand with a “Brewed in partnership with Seven Bro7hers” credit.

Seven Brothers recommended Marco to be our Northern Soul Dj who was professional throughout and did a great set that everyone loved. But how did they get to this point - and how can difficult business decisions be made by so many people who know each other so well, and with remarkably similar backgrounds? We also do brewery tours and tastings, as well as holding regular events at the Tap Room which are always extremely good fun. The team had a fantastic evening in my absence last night at the launch of 11 Central by Seven Brothers, over in The Quays. So we helped him out a little bit and I took a keen interest in it, and I soon started brewing beer for my friends and family as well.

We don’t expect this funding round to be able to finance all our ambitious plans, but this round will lay the groundwork,” said chief executive Keith McAvoy. Because we were all pretty close anyway and there's quite a big number of us, whenever there's been a bad disagreement, and it's got a little bit fraught, there's been too many of us to allow it to get out of hand. It comes after Seven Brothers – founded in 2014 by brothers Guy, Keith, Luke, Daniel, Nathan, Kit and Greg – acquired Sisters Distillery in January. They also recommend XL5 that did 'Manchester' indie set that went down a treat and Cheeky swine for our hog roast and pizza that everyone loved. Would highly recommend the space for a party as it’s such a cool venue and not your typical function room!A popular Salford brewery has announced it has made the ‘unfortunate decision’ to temporarily close one of its sites. That is part of the strategy for us - getting beer out across the whole country, for as many people as possible to enjoy and see our brand everywhere. MediaCityUK is a fantastic location, especially in the Summer, so we can’t wait to kick off and be part of the buzz. Keith and Beth were great hosts, Keith gave presentation on how they got to today and Beth showed expert knowledge of the brewing and tasting, which went down really well.

With the two firms sharing the same HQ, the brothers revealed that the two firms could merge at some point in the near future - “sooner rather than later”. After the company had been trading for a few months, Keith was introduced to one of the Hub’s business growth advisors, Mick Hadfield, who was a judge at a regional beer festival. Keith had been looking for someone who could help the business improve their operations and increase profits, and with a background in food and drink, Mick proved the perfect match. As each brother turned 18, their first legal pint was of their dad’s beer - so ale immediately took on a “real and special significance”. In recent weeks hospitality businesses across Manchester have announced they have been forced to close after buckling under the pressure of soaring costs.Keith McAvoy, CEO of SEVEN BRO7HERS, said: “We are so pleased to finally be launching our MediaCityUK space after months of waiting for covid restrictions to ease.
