About this deal

In the heart of every bottle of Cihuatán Indigo lies the Sleeping Woman, Mayan goddess and guardian of the Cihuatán valley. Legend has it that the sleeping woman, guardian goddess of the Cihuatan valley would intercede on behalf of the people of Cihuatan so that Tlaloc would make the valley bloom. The palate is smooth, with notes of vanilla, dark chocolate, hazelnut coming through with hints of Cappuccino and Lemongrass and a smooth finish. It was a thirst for wonder that inspired the ancient Maya to study the stars, to travel to faraway places and to create unimaginable things. This choice to highlight this culture comes from the fact that it is intimately linked to the country of origin of this rum: El Salvador.

From El Salvador comes the Cihuatan Indigo Rum which has been aged for a minimum of 8 years inside American Oak ex-bourbon barrels.

Indigo has been matured for 8 years in former bourbon barrels and delivers hints of Vanilla, Cappuccino, Dark Chocolate, Lemon grass and Hazelnut. Further indulgent hazelnut cappuccino with smooth vanilla, dark chocolate, butterscotch and creamy dulce de leche.
