It will absorb water spillages and animal waste allowing effective spot cleaning, but if kept wet will mould and rot over time. AubiChick creates a perfect soft and cosy bed for your chickens, ducks, geese in fact is great for all types of bird! HempBedz is capable of absorbing more liquid than wood shavings or straw, making the bed stay drier for longer.

Aubiose is worth the few pounds extra as it's softer, has less large rough pieces and is so absorbant the piggies are dry with not obvious wet patches even after a week (With shavings and the cheaper hemp brand, they needed a spot clean during the week to remove the wet). Highly absorbent Aubiose is so absorbent, there will be less material removed from the stable, thus reducing the area needed for muck storage.Unlike the short-lived pine scent, hemp maintains a neutral odour which keeps ammonia odours and flies at bay much longer.
