It did the job fine as I got started but now the digital temp gauge is kinda bugging out, and I’d like something with more counterweight. the pour over kettle also features a hold function to keep the water temperature constant for five minutes (up to 96°c/205°f).

If your primary use for a gooseneck kettle is making a single cup of tea or filling a small French press, you might not want a large kettle taking up space in your cabinets. On the other end of the spout spectrum, some pour over kettles have extremely narrow spouts, this may actually result in a slower than required flow rate.A traditional kettle heats water by convection, meaning that hot air rises and circulates through the water.
