About this deal

Each vintage is a creation, singular and unique, that expresses both the character of the year, and is a tribute to Pinot Noir.

After at least eight years of lees ageing in the cellars, the wine enters its first phase of interest, Plenitude 1, showing quite youthful fruit and broad texture from the lees contact. Plenty of spice and black cherry hints on the palate with tropical fruit flavours on the mid-palate lingering long at the finish. Brisk and refreshing, with a slightly herbal (but not unpleasant character), the 2005 is superb today. Although it took over ten years to reach the light of day, the colour of Dom Pérignon Rosé dares to express all the tension between youth and maturity, between exhibition and restraint.

Your personalised message can only include Latin alphabetical letters, standard figures and a selection of other special signs as available on a standard UK QWERTY keyboard. Dom Pérignon Rosé 2002 sharpens the paradoxes with this vibrant interpretation: luminous and dark, ripe and rich, all at once. The maturity of the grapes surpassed all expectations, revealing an exceptional high-toned balance, with fruit in impeccable health. A rosé vintage has perhaps never gone so far and attained such great heights whilst harnessing a great potential for ageing: it will become even more stellar over time. The Chardonnay adds a supporting layer of chalky texture and delicious fruit in the yellow spectrum like plum, apple and tropical notes of pineapple.

As the harvest began on September 15, conditions were at last perfect - bright sunshine and sustained north to north-easterly winds. v=1596114162","options":["size"],"media":[{"alt":null,"id":6698801954867,"position":1,"preview_image":{"aspect_ratio":1. Dom Perignon Rose is an extrovert wine that gives the Pinot Noir grape its due, almost to the point of contradiction, since the heart of the Dom Pérignon spirit is to achieve a perfect balance between white and black grapes. Today on the Friday Bubble, we compare the new release of Dom Perignon Vintage 2013 and compare to its predecessor Dom Perignon 2012.The vines were in good health and the dehydration of the grape berries helped them reach new heights of ripeness.
