If you are approaching the game from a purely Survival and Resource Management Point of View, then you'll have a great time. From this moment on, you’ve unblocked the ability to start building your first rudimentary tools and buildings and you can develop the necessary skills to survive and continue improving upon your town all by yourself.

Namely, some assets would unload when you walked away from them while still having them on your line of sight. I have been gaming since the ’80s my first console was the Atari 800XL and I have not looked back since. Luckily you can turn off carry capacity in the settings, even though i usually love inventory management.Plus there are a lot of options that let you simplify the experience and lower the difficulty level, so you don’t need to be a hardcore survival games fan to have fun with Medieval Dynasty. Much of the game is spent walking between villages, which takes a lot of real time as they are moderately far apart. I couldn’t tell you if this happens in absolutely every single menu, but it happened enough that it was noticeable.

AI is a crap too, there's no animations, no voices, they simple look like robots around your village. Building your own legacy is challenging because of winters that are tough and unpredictable events that occur. the game sits right now with a coveted “Very Positive” score on Steam and a respectable 73 metacritic score at the time of writing. Cut down trees, collect resources and explore mysterious caves: you will find something new to discover everywhere.
