I bought the 802 to use with a factory refurbished Alto TS8 powered speaker. I've had the 802 for a couple weeks and have used it and the TS8 for rehearsal and for one wine bar gig. To this point, I couldn't be happier. When powered up, the lights on the 802 and TS8 provide the only indication they've been turned on. I detect neither hiss nor hum. The mixer's controls feel solid. They operate smoothly and silently. I've not yet explored the full range of functions offered by the 802. I play in a duo and run two mics and two acoustic/electric guitars through the mixer. The sound is crystal clear. All of the effects sound good in my living room, but to this point, the only effects I've sampled in a playing situation and at volume, are a few of the reverb plus delay settings & a couple of the plate reverbs. Once I dialed in a setting that sounded good in the room, I let well enough alone. The quality of the effects themselves are to my ear, top notch.
