The Huawei modems with a phone connection would auto-drop to 3G for voice calls, so this advice may not be universally applicable. Then again, Mr Saffron or someone else might still have the link. There's also the chance that the link no longer works, but if you don't ask, you'll never know. Hello guys, I found this thread and want to share my pain with B535 router on Three. Got it in January and it was all hunky-dory up until March. I never bothered to measure speed before things went bad in March but since then I'm rarely getting 1Mbps - it's more like 400 kbps at best times.

The router settings don't allow me to change this and guest network etc is all disabled. In theory, the modem of the Huawei B535 LTE router can reach speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s in the downlink and up to 100 Mbit/s in the uplink (LTE Cat7). Almost all frequency bands important for Europe are supported, as the following list shows. Only the band 32 (1,500 MHz) cannot be used by the router, but there are no restrictions. Huawei does not provide any information about the possible CA combinations. I was however curious if anyone has experienced this: I assumption that the B535 just doesn't have a powerful enough CPU to allow sustained high throughput, whereas the 5G Pro that Frediche mentioned he uses, does. I think when I had my VirginMedia SH3 router, if I set it to 300Mbps performance mode, it basically doubled up the channels that it used and also resulted in a 'hidden' WiFi network appearing.
