About this deal

The nightlight emits a calming amber glow with adjustable brightness, creating a comforting environment for children and adding practicality for parents. The D11 has 11 sounds including a fan, lullaby music, and even a busy restaurant-like sound with muffled chatter. It's small but can get quite loud, and the swirl design works as a night light. There are 30-, 60-, and 90-minute timers, or you can leave it running continuously. It charges via USB-C, and if you use a timer, the battery should last you for a few nights. I left it on for nearly 12 hours in my office and it was still going the next day.

Here you can see that the internal battery and lanyard allows you to hang the Dreamegg D11 in the room, and doesn’t need to be within cable distance of a power outlet: Easy to use I’ve already mentioned that the D11 is small, but it’s worth reiterating. I really like how portable this one is. It also comes with a small rope and plastic loop, so you can hang it on door handles or other places in the bedroom. The sound quality is excellent, with a speaker that produces louder maximum volume than the others in this list. I measured it at 77 decibels on a white noise setting from a meter away.

Morphée's meditation machine includes a range of sleep sounds—I particularly like the cat purring and fireplace sounds—but I love the meditations that are designed to relax you into a deep sleep. You can unplug it and take it with you, too. It looks like a little music box! Despite the cost, the Snooz offers a balance of advanced features and high maximum volume, making it a top choice compared to more basic fan models like the Yogasleep range. If the sound of a fan brings you comfort but you don’t want a bulkier fan, the Snooz could be a good choice. One of the key features of the Dreamegg D11 is the inclusion of a nightlight. It has a nice warm white/yellow glow that comes out of the top, in a spiral design. In the photo below, you can see that the Dreamegg D11 is a small white noise machine with simple buttons: The battery lasts all night, so this is a very convenient feature that sets it apart from many other sound machines. Good nightlight

I’ve kept a close eye on the prices of white noise machines for many years, so I wanted to share a couple of observations I thought would be helpful. Other than improving the soundproofing of your room, some effective options include earplugs, headphones, speakers, and white noise machines. I timed the lullaby and music box, and they are both around 90 seconds long. And as many parents will know, that’s much longer than it takes to get through the somewhat repetitive Twinkle Twinkle Little Star when you’re singing it to the best of your ability in the dark for the millionth time! There are eight themes—body scan, breathing, movement, visualizations, cardiac coherence, napping, relaxing music, and nature sounds—each theme has eight sessions all available in either eight or 20-minute lengths. The visualizations theme has different stories for the male and female voices. My only quibble is that I wish you could let the sleep sounds play continuously. On the other hand, others might appreciate the fact that it can’t get too loud. If you’re worried about playing white noise too loudly to a baby or infant, for example, the Dohm Uno might be a good choice. I really like how it looks, and it’s enough to illuminate a bedroom so you can see in the dark. The nightlight can be dimmed as well, which is a great feature and useful if the maximum brightness is too much.

I might be wrong, but I imagine most people would prefer to have more than five or six sounds to choose from, especially considering there are many white noise machines that have 20, 30 or even more. Only one white noise and fan option But overall, the nightlight is a great feature. It’s even better than the Snooz, which is a much more expensive white noise machine with a nightlight. Small and portable design

With a visually appealing curved design and a robust build, the Yogasleep Dreamcenter offers 26 distinct sounds, an adjustable multi-colored nightlight, and several handy features for sleep. Despite these shortcomings, the Homedics Sound Spa Rejuvenate might appeal to those needing a device with battery power autonomy or those with budget constraints. For the loops, I spent many hours trying to time them as it’s often difficult to spot the loop. The higher score means the loop is longer and/or undetectable with sounds like rain. Compared to the D1 white noise machines, the D1 Pro white noise machines have more sounds options featuring 29 high fidelity sounds. It creates a relaxing and calming sleep environment for all-age users. As well as having some relaxing deep pink and brown noise, there are favorites like rain, sea waves, and birds. There are also a few for kids, such as a lullaby, music box, and heartbeat.
