About this deal

God is the Creator of the universe who yearns for us to know Him. That is why we are all here. It is His desire that we rely on and experience His strength, love, justice, holiness and compassion. So He says to all who are willing, "Come to Me." In those moments of understandable and common human pain, I have found that I must lean into what I know to be truth.

God Where Are You? (2014) - IMDb

So if you’re asking,” Where are you God?” Let me encourage you… Don’t give up, stay in the presence of God. You know ofJesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and withpower, andhowHe went about doing good and healingallwho were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” – Acts 10:38 Ever wondered, “God, where are you?” This message helps us understand that the power of God is revealed in our difficult situations. It is the “in-between times” when faith grows, and God brings life to the dead. Mary and Martha were emotionally in different places. Martha ran to Jesus, Mary waited. Yet they both spoke the same words to Jesus. “ Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” Unlike us, God knows what will happen tomorrow, next week, next year, the next decade. He says, "I am God, and there is no one like me, declaring the end from the beginning." 1 He knows what will happen in the world. More importantly, He knows what will occur in your life and can be there for you, if you've chosen to include Him in your life. He tells us that He can be "our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble." 2 But we must make a sincere effort to seek Him. He says, "you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart." 3 Where Is God in Difficult Times? So in the middle of the mess we return to worship. Because worship will carry us through. In worship we decide & declare what we know is true. In worship we praise God for who He is, not just all He has done. Be careful not to withdraw your worship just because God doesn’t seem to be present when you pray. A. Goddess Ambika, also known as Durga Maa and Ambe Maa, is one of the Goddesses, who is worshipped... The sinner’s guilt is seen in his response to God. Adam and Eve heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool (lit., “the wind”) of the day. It should have been a time of refreshment and delight, but it now was a time of fear. God’s presence was a theophany, an appearance of Jesus Christ in human form before He was born of Mary thousands of years later. But Adam and Eve didn’t want to see Him. They hid among the trees. So I lift Mom’s name to You, Lord, to remember her. Remember Elizabeth. Elizabeth means “oath of God” or “God is satisfaction”. Satisfy her Lord with Your presence. You are the Light in the darkness, so pierce the darkness Father. Her oath to You? Her very name – Elizabeth. Look at Genesis 3:9 and listen for the tenderness, the compassion and the concern in this question that God asks of His children. In this three-word question there is a three-fold proof of God’’s love. First, He proves His love to us in that He dealt with Adam’s sin –- He did not overlook it or condone it. How could He? Again, His love is proved in that He at once promised to send a Saviour; that promise is contained in Genesis 3:15 (KJV) where we read of the “seed of the woman”, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Redeemer –- look up Galatians 4:4-6. God also proved His love by asking this question in the immediate provision that He made for the nakedness of His children –- Genesis 3:21 tells us about this.

Man may seek to hide from God, but the relentless “Hound of Heaven” goes after him. God calls to Adam and asks the first question attributed to God in the Bible: “Where are you?” (3:9). Whenever God asks a question, it is not to gain information. God knew exactly where Adam was. He asked the question to make Adam think. If you had a friend coming to your house for the first time and he called and said that he was lost, you would ask, “Where are you?” If he can tell you where he is, you can tell him how to get to your house. You’ve got to know where you are before you can receive directions to where you need to be. We say, I will praise God even in His perceived absence. I will praise God for who He is, not just for what He’s done. I love the giver of the gift more than the gift itself. My faith is not a “What have you done for me lately?” faith. My faith is an unshakable faith in my Savior & my God. Even when God seems far away, He’s always near. When the Lord finds Adam, Adam admits his fear. But notice what he says (3:10): “I was afraid because I was naked.” Not, “because I sinned,” but, “because I was naked.” He had been naked every other time the Lord had walked with him in the garden. The problem wasn’t his nakedness, but his sin. But the real problem was, and still is, it is a fearful thing to be exposed as a guilty sinner in the presence of God. And so instead of coming to God, who can deal with our sin, we run, foolishly thinking that we can hide from His omnipresent gaze. At times you may think, if only you would have been here Lord.God, if only you would have stepped in and stopped it. The truth is, we only see the situation and not the purpose or spiritual answer that God is working out on our behalf. We can have tunnel vision regarding our situation and life and we do not see the entire picture of what the Lord is wanting to do in our situation. We do not see all the twists and turns of the situation from beginning to end. If Jesus had returned sooner, Lazarus might not have died, but Martha, Mary and the crowd never would see the resurrection power of God. Others in the crowd might not have believed Jesus to be the son of God.

Have you just now sincerely asked God into your life? If you have, you have a lot to look forward to. God promises to make your present life one of greater satisfaction through knowing Him. 26 Where is God? He promises to make His home in you. 27 And He gives you eternal life. 28 There is no mistaking it. As H. C. Leupold observes, “Here is one of the saddest anticlimaxes of history: They eat, they expect marvelous results, they wait--and there grows on them the sense of shame” ( Exposition of Genesis [Baker], p. 154). Sin always leads to guilt; guilt leads to alienation, both between the sinner and God and between the sinner and his fellow human beings. No, the light does not ‘do’ any work, but without it, we cannot do anything in the dark. Just like the bulb provides light in the room, similarly the Soul i.e. God provides light to every living being. God’s role is to do nothing but to give light (knowledge) to every living being.

He is kind and loving, then why is He not helping me? He is Almighty, then why is He not saving me? When Adam sinned, he became lost with reference to God. All Adam’s descendents are born in that condition: lost. Before you can be reconciled to God, you’ve got to answer for yourself the question God asked Adam: Where are you? The answer is, “God, I’m lost.” Before God can save you, you’ve got to admit to Him that you are lost. The fact of the matter is, our timing is not God’s timing. What we want doesn’t always line up with God’s plan. God is all powerful, all knowing and ever present. Jesus hears your prayer; however, the answer is not always what you may want to hear. Jesus will answer your prayer. Jesus responded to Martha and Mary, but not according to their plans. At times, the answer might be yes to your prayer. Other times, the answer might be no as your prayer seems to go unanswered. And still other times, the answer might be not yet when he’s saying trust me, it’s not time, or simply wait.Of course people don’t just blame other people. They also blame their circumstances, which is really to blame God, who ordains our circumstances. Adam is implicitly blaming God when he says, “The woman whom You gave to be with me ...” (3:12). “If You hadn’t given her to me, God, I wouldn’t be in this mess. It’s Your fault.” The sinner’s guilt is seen in himself and in his relationship with others. Susan has been described as a solid, comforting voice in a messy world. May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace, Mom. That verse comes from Romans 1:7b(NLT). I pray it for Mom and every person dealing with chaos in their mind. Grant them peace Lord - the peace of God that passes all understanding is my heartfelt prayer for Your children, Lord God Almighty.

This verse is the earliest promise of a Redeemer, and it comes as a surprise in this context of judgment. But its unexpectedness makes God’s grace shine all the brighter. God promises to put enmity between the serpent and the woman. Satan already hated Eve, but God graciously put it into Eve’s heart to hate Satan. Then God says that this enmity will be between Satan’s seed and the woman’s seed. This refers to the battle of the ages between the ungodly, who are children of their father, the devil (John 8:44), and the children of God. In this sense, “seed” is collective. The stone needed to be removed for the miracle and power of God to be witnessed by Martha, Mary and the crowd that had gathered. Listen, the stone could not have prevented the miracle. The power of God is greater than any obstacle, even that of a heavy stone. A. If a person were to steal today, his action of stealing would be the visible karma. The fruit of... God, I have turned away from You in my heart, but I want to change that. I want to know You. I want to receive Jesus Christ and His forgiveness into my life. I don't want to be separated from You anymore. Be the God of my life from this day onward. Thank you God." Jesus prays to God and calls Lazarus to come out of the tomb. Let me read verse 42 again: “ I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me." Like Jesus, know your prayers are heard. Lazarus is miraculously resurrected from the dead. Lazarus exits the tomb still wrapped in his grave linens. The power of God is revealed and God alone receives the glory. At the cross, Satan bruised Christ on the heel. At first, the cross seemed like a great victory for Satan and a terrible defeat for God. But when Christ arose from the dead, the serpent was crushed on the head. What seemed like Satan’s moment of triumph was actually the eve of his greatest defeat. He thought that he was gaining what he had been after since he rebelled against God; but actually, he was carrying out the sovereign purposes of God’s eternal plan. And so here, in this context when Adam and Eve could rightly have expected to be condemned to hell for their sin, God promises the defeat of Satan and the victory of the Redeemer who would come from Eve’s descendents. Amazing grace! Conclusion
