About this deal

Thanks for the well done review Wim. Would you be able to let me know the percentage of miss firing? I should be receiving my TT350F tomorrow to work with my two AD600BM and will be using them for a shoot very soon so I would really appreciate the information so I know what to expect. Torn between those two flashes for my xt2. Use mostly shooting kids at home, kid birthdays, family functions, etc. Value smaller size of 350, but not sure if just go with 685 for its better performance. I am leaning toward 350, but hoping to hear from people with experience. Plan mostly on camera use in the near future. What do you think? Thanks!

You’ll need a good quality USB cable to connect your PC to the flash. If you can’t connect to the flash, try a few other cables, the USB cable is the culprit most of the time. If the battery power is low, < > will appear and blink on the LCD panel. Please replace the battery immediately. When the low battery indicator is displayed, the ZOOM can not be adjusted, it will constantly be 16mm. The included plastic stand looks more like a shuriken than a stand for your flash, but it does the job. The 1/4-inch thread here appears to be brass and should last a while. So, if you’re mounting this on a lightstand, no need to worry. if you are away from home, you got to bring a bunch of AAs and a charger and have the pain of swapping out AA batteries on the go. Li-Ion batteries are more compact, easier to install/remove, and you can buy a really compact USB charger for these batteries. 1000 full power shots on two Li-Ion batteries vs. 1000 shots with 10x AA NiMH batteries. With stroboscopic flash, a rapid series of flashes is fired. It can be used to capture a multiple images of a moving subject in a single photograph.

First photo was ISO200, f/2.8 and 1/60s with the TT350F. As you can see, not quite bright enough to light the room. Press the SET Button and the flash exposure compensation amount will be highlighted on the LCD panel. This Flash can work in TTL/M/Multi flash modes when set as a master unit. Any settings for the slave units on the Master Flash in TTL mode will be automatically sent to the slave units. So the only thing you need to do is to setup the master unit for each slave group and all settings will be transferred to the different groups. You can set up three slave groups for TTL shooting. The Fuji X-Pro 2 is fully compatible with the Godox TT350f including TTL, HSS and rear curtain sync as a stand-alone flash, slave or commander.

Key Features:

Do not fire the flash directly into the eyes (especially those of babies) within short distances. Otherwise visual impairment may occur. For the small Godox flashes, I would get the TT350 over the V350, even if they were the same price, for the simplicity of Eneloops (no special chargers, etc). As a slave unit, TT350F can be controlled by the following master unit models: X1T-F. Note: When using TTL function, please update it to the newest firmware version. The room is completely dark at the time of taking the photo, white ceiling is 3m high and room dimensions are 9m x 5.5m although not completely square. Apologies for the state of the room but my wife is away and I’m with 2 kids so this is about as clean as it stays with one parent.

Turn the Select Dial to choose a desired flash output amount. In high-speed sync mode, the adjustable flash range is 1/16~1/1.Is there a workaround for using HSS with X-E2?? (Like for Nissin flashes, their HSS mode seem to work with X-E2.) There is a low battery indicator which will allow you to politely get a few more shots before you need to swap out the batteries. We used the Godox TT350F with the Fujifilm X-T3, the Flashpoint R2 Pro F TTL for Fujifilm, the 18-55mm f2.8-4, the Fujfilm 55-200mm f3.5-4.8,a and the Fujifilm 56mm f1.2 When the shutter button is fully pressed, the flash will fire a preflash that the camera will use to calculate exposure and flash output the instant before the photo is taken. If you are in the market for something on the lower end of the price range and you’re prepared to accept the limited power capability, I’d highly recommend this. If not, it may be worth waiting for Godox to release some of the higher power models.
