Everything else I kept the same… The POE light doesn’t come on (the power light does just not the POE one) though which suggests that a nonpowered device is plugged in (According to the injector pdf)…. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.

If you look at the pinouts for the PoE connectors, you’ll notice that there are no signal pins separate from power pins. (If there were, you might in principle be able to wire the 48VDC supply directly to the power pins and passthrough the signal pins.)
I have reattached the starlink wire together and plugged it in and done the initial setup it’s all working fine through that with the router and thus the dish powered by the mains. Hello, I have Starlink and will be using a series of TP Link deco M4’s to create a mesh to boost the signal.

I would install a central network cabinet somewhere in the house, and route the Starlink cable there, with the Starlink router and Ethernet Adapter also inside the cabinet. From the Ethernet Adapter, connect to a network switch. All your devices can also be run down to this switch. A 3rd party router or mesh system is recommended for more advanced networking settings, but the Starlink router will be fine for most applications. On this network topology, please connect Deco to the AUX port of the Gen-1 Starlink Router.
