About this deal

One member donated a case, another assembled a dial from a one-off print-out and indices, and a third contributed the case and movement. By the time the watch is thoroughly de-branded, re-dialed, with new hands, and a changed bezel, it’s a whole new watch, and more than that, it’s customized to your tastes.

To view the purposes they believe they have legitimate interest for, or to object to this data processing use the vendor list link below. When so far, there hasn’t been much to complain about, apart from the excess branding, my first negative of this Invicta watch is right on the way and is to do with the bracelet. The dial is covered with a mineral crystal, which is pretty much the standard in affordable watches. The dial design really stands out on this watch, that texturing makes the watch look a lot more expensive than it is. It’s a better quality watch with sapphire crystal and a lovely bracelet but the 8926 is more comfortable and is all you would ever need of course I’d love a Sub but can’t justify the outlay just yet. Coupled with the limited supply, there is bound to be a discrepancy between those that want this watch and those that can have it.

On the other hand it produces a smooth weeping of the seconds hand that’s found in most luxury watches. I haven’t tried it out in the water yet, but swimming or snorkeling shouldn’t be a problem with this watch. It also features a sweeping second hand, which adds a touch of elegance to the watch’s overall aesthetic. I own a couple of far more expensive Tissots, Seikos and Oris’ but out of every ten days I wear this one 9… Use it while sporting and swimming: never a problem. This one has a 48mm casing diameter and a 17mm thickness, again it’s pretty huge and chunky and I know some people love the Invicta brand for their bigger watches.I’ve bought an Oris (mid market) in which the crown keep falling off, and its got a cheap plastic face which has cracked, so tend these days to remove the brand name and look at ‘ does it do what I want it to’. With overwhelmingly positive opinions from watch collectors and reviewers, it is clear that the Pro Diver 8926OB is a timepiece that delivers on its promises and exceeds expectations. It doesn’t need to be there and its inclusion actually hurts the Invicta Pro Diver in the eyes of many watch enthusiasts. Another problem that caught my eye, although a slight one, is the gap between the three links when bending the bracelet. Any dive over 60′ is consedered a “deep dive” and if you dive that deep it requires carefully controlled ascent to avoid “the bends”.
