If we got more of them trying navigate the world actually being together, I would have loved this even more. But that’s easier said than done because the boy that she once knew, is now a complicated man who wants nothing to do with her.

Actually, his sister was also raped by the same guy so she kills him and her brother (our hero) takes the blame. Ramsay's smile, his cheerfulness, his persistence of not letting Thea's abrasive behavior drive him away broke through her walls and they became first best friends, then lovers and then. Ramsey and Thea found a safe haven in one another throughout their whole lives and Martinez portrayed that beautifully.However, as much as I enjoyed this one - and I did - I also can't honestly say I loved it as much as other books I have read by her. That was exactly how I lived my life, showing the world a pretty exterior to hide the disaster on the inside.
