About this deal

Although the game did not sell well during the launch period, it won IGN's Best Story award in 2003 for the GameCube version as well as many other awards and nominations for the character, story, audio, and design across multiple platforms. With a new multiplayer mode, material cut from the original GameCube title, and tonnes of Spongetastic features to uncover, this HD remake is the ultimate game for fans that go everywhere shouting ‘I’M READY’ at every opportunity. Yeah for whatever reason critics tend to diss on prime 2 in favor of 3, but it seems that most people (myself included) believe that prime 3 is a little iffy. R.S soldiers Chris and Jill on an adventure into a horrendous world filled with every kind of flesh-eating demon imaginable.

Firstly, it is a dive into a whole new segment of games for Nintendo as the first M-rated game the company published. It's such a different offering from Nintendo, but it was a sleeper hit – over a decade later, Luigi's Mansion 2 significantly expanded on the idea, while 2019's Luigi's Mansion 3 was a smash hit. Unlucky Europeans wouldn't get their hands on it until the following year, but the wait was worth it for one of the best-looking video game consoles of all time. Looking at this list again, it seems to have a few odd things in it, such as Super Mario Sunshine being in a surprisingly low position, (though I guess it's ranking is mostly due to universally high scores and it being generally considered one of, if not the weakest of the 3D Mario games), and the inclusion of re-releases like Zelda Collectors edition is also a bit suspect (but seems to be the norm here); but the thing that really throws me is Metroid Prime 2 not only ending up all the way down at 25th, but is apparently 'considered the weakest in the Prime trilogy'. You can even challenge friends and family to see if anyone has what it takes, and because you’re playing for fun, and not real cash, you can play as many times as you like.As the very last Nintendo-published game released on the GameCube, Twilight Princess was also released on the Wii. Since Mario is made of paper, he can slide into hidden areas and change the view of the paper world by turning sideways. While there are some great Sonic games available on the Nintendo Switch already, this addition is an important game in Sonic history that would benefit the Switch's huge library of games. The greatness of the base game shines, of course, and arguably makes it worthy of placement here, but anyone expecting a REmake-style overhaul was left sorely disappointed by this barebones version. I still feel that the Switch would be PERFECT for both a Baten Kaitos collection, since I believe quite a significant part of the potential audience missed out on that one back in the day, as well as a PoR and a Radiant Dawn Collection, seeing as this still stands as one of the strongest "arcs" in FEs' entire saga, which is now more popular than ever with plenty of folks (esp.

When I played Prime 3, I thought the motion control really got in the way and it's the one entry in the series I didn't like. Rescue Peach not from Bowser, but from Shadow Mario, who is desecrating Isle Deflino in Mazza’s name! It's easy to pick up and play a Tony Hawk's game, but the skill ceiling just keeps going as players try and beat their own scores. Armed with only the information of a covert name (you guessed it; ‘XIII’), gamers must discover their place in a confusing world all while trying to kill people that are trying to kill them. Don’t beat around the bush – get those head shots in ASAP and take down those mother f… I mean, defeat them as quickly as possible.Pikmin 2 is great, and just like in the previous case, it definitely has stuff that's better than in the first game, but I feel that Pikmin 1 has much better level design and a better atmosphere. Though I would probably take out RE2 and replace it with RE0, and add games like Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life, Killer 7, StarFox Adventure/Assult, Battalion Wars and Billy Hatcher. And Monkey Bowling is exactly what it sounds like: a monkey in a ball being fired at some pins, with the aim being to get a strike. The Nintendo Switch version has a nifty rewind version too, allowing gamers to pull some Prince of Persia style backtracking to save themselves from death or to go about situations in a different way.

In the past, whenever I've seen discussions of best games on the Cube, it usually comes down to RE4 and Metroid Prime. While this is still everything you'd expect out of a racing game, it does add a new element to the multiplayer options. But the GameCube will always be home to a unique, and fantastic library of games that people will always remember. Instead of riding warthogs, there are a number of kart races for players to try their paws at, especially while playing with a friend.

They did very well at taking the common Metroid play and making it a little more modern with the 3D, first-person perspective. Link is sucked into the Twilight Realm and changed into a wolf, where a dark creature with the chaotic energy of a Shakespearian sprite named Midna rescues him and helps him prevent the corruption. Players control retired Jedi Kyle Katarn (I know, I didn’t even know you could retire from being a Jedi!I vividly remember spending what felt like forever on the water just trying to get from point A to point B on the GameCube. Your mission – to destroy a load of villagers that have had their brains corrupted by a brain-devouring parasite. This is extremely addictive, but Monkey Ball's real magic is arguably in its minigames, which offer some of the best local multiplayer experiences on the console. There are elements of stealth, racing, combat, and exploration that all help you get to the bottom of what's really going on and save your friends from becoming victim to it. This densely packed game is like one long puzzle, as you figure out how to use Samus' tools to reach new parts of its giant map.
